Welcome
The Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) Program was designed to increase positive behaviors in the learning environment. Students are rewarded points for staying on task, completing required assignments, attending school regularly and exhibiting positive and respectful behavior to avoid In-School-Suspension and Out-of-School Suspension. With these types of positive behaviors in the classroom, students are actively engaging in classroom instructions and excelling above and beyond the expectations of the teacher in achieving the required skills.
The students selected the Charlotte Bobcats game as an incentive. The game is scheduled for March 12, 2010, and we are asking for individuals to sponsor several at-risk students in providing them with the first time opportunity to attend a NBA game. I know this would be a wonderful opportunity for them to see beyond their present condition and inspire them to continue to do the right thing in portraying the POSITIVE attitude to life’s success. 282 students achieved the goal required to attend this event.
Thanking you in advance for your monetary donations.
